All these amazing areas below seem more like works of art instead of areas you may visit. Molded by character, these shores, landscapes and geological parks make up an whole atmosphere that doesn’t appear to have much explanation.
1- Marble Caves, Chile.
In Puerto Rio Tranquilo — at the south of Chile are these surreal Marble Caves. These magnificent marble tunnels were formed from tens of thousands of years of water and wind assault.
All these marble caves are among the greatest cool places to go but to get that you want to board a ferry from Chile Chico which will take you to and throughout the Marble cave and its tunnels.
2- Spotted Lake, British Columbia
Another cool spot to go is Spotted Lake, this is one of Canada’s great natural attractions. It’s situated approximately 100 km east of Vancouver and is quite near the United States border.
Its strange look is caused a high concentration of different minerals, such as magnesium sulfate, calcium and sodium sulfates. But it’s in summer, when the sun evaporates part of the quantity of water of this lake, as it offers its most spectacular image.
Additionally, the water turns to steam leaving behind these huge”stains” of minerals. Based on the mineral composition, these spots can be white, pale ocher and yellow, yellow, blue or green. 3- Travertine Pools at Pamukkale, Turkey

4- Moeraki Boulders, New Zealand.
The rock spheres of the Moeraki Boulders Scenic Reserve are the thing of legends and fascination for many years. Almost perfectly round, with a circumference of approximately 4 meters, the rock balls are scattered along a stretch of 164 meters of beach.
It’s believed that they had been shaped on the seabed about 60 million years ago as limestone salts that gradually gathered.
The Maori legend says the stones would be the food baskets that were taken by the sea into the beach after the wreck of an ancient kayak making its epic journey to New Zealand from Hawaiiki.
5- The Eye of the Sahara, Mauritania
This odd structure was detected by astronauts during the initial space assignments. Before then no one even knew this place existed.
While the enigmatic Nazca lines can be perfectly appreciated from a plane, to observe the Richat Structure in its fullness it’s important to consider them from outer space.
It has a diameter of 50 kilometers and is shaped by spiral lines. It’s definitely of enormous dimension. Because of this, astronauts use the Eye of Africa as a point of reference within their own assignments.
6- Caño Cristales River, Colombia
Very close to the municipality of La Macarena, at the department of Meta (Colombia), is what today is considered by many to be the”most beautiful river in the world”: Caño Cristales.
It’s also known by the name of the”River of the Five Colors” (yellow, blue, green, black and red ), because in its transparent and pure waters you’ll be able to see aquatic plants, sand and gorgeous rock formations on its bed.
7- Zumaia, Spain
This geological treasure can be located close to the town of Zumaia on the north coast of Spain. The formation exists on the beach of Itzurun and extends over a distance of approximately 8 kilometers, between the towns of Deba and Getaria, together with Zumaia lying in the center.
These stones are also the largest set of constant rock strata on earth.
8- Lençóis Maranhenses, Brazil.
There is nothing comparable to this fascinating Lençóis Maranhenses. The Lençóis Park, located on the eastern coast of Maranhão, involves the municipalities of Humberto de Campos, Primeira Cruz, Santo Amaro and Barreirinhas, the last one is the most important gateway into this wonderful natural beauty.
9- The Salar de Uyuni, Bolívia.
One of our favorite trendy places to see is the salt desert in Bolivia. On sunny days, it is a white sea of salt but if it rains, it becomes the biggest mirror in the world that seems infinite.
10- Puerto Vallarta beach, México.
If you are looking for a little bit of romance then”Playa Del Amor” is among the best cool places to go. The title actually translates to Beach Of Love but is also known as the Hidden Beach.
